Last of the BYE Rounds
Thank God. This will be the last week the byes screw us around. After this round, it’s all your own fault. Let’s have a look at who is going to struggle.
- BT v FD. Hmmm… Normally, this would be a good match, but El Bombres will struggle to get a team on the park this week and the Bay Bros will win comfortably as a consequence.
- Block v Cookie. This bye has not only taken the wheels off WillsieAir, but removed the wings and cannon too. The Ingredients will relish this easy win.
- The Captain v Boss Hog. The Jolly Jokers just sit below Luke’s Dukes on the ladder and really need to win this week. Unfortunately for the Captain, that ain’t gonna happen. The Dukes by ten points.
- MattyT v Moptop. Both sides will be hampered by the bye, but both teams have a dominant ruck and still a smattering of talent to choose from for the other positions. It’ll be close. I think the Rabbits might sneak ahead by the final siren. A three point margin.
- Straddo v The Colonel. Can the Colonel’s Jokers bounce back this week after the drubbing of Round 15? Actually, I reckon he can. The Souls will succumb by eight points.
- Biz v Steele. Although both teams sit with a 9 and 5 win-loss, the Stars look way stronger in this final bye week. Bizkit by fifteen.
