Round 24 commences Friday with the also-rans Melbourne hosting Collingwood at the MCG at 5:40pm WA time. Hence, the final teams for 2024 need to be submitted to this thread by 5:30pm Friday.


  • 2024 DuFFLe Premiership: CaptDazza (Jolly Jokers) v MattyT (El Primero) at Beerporium Balcony
  • 2024 Pollyanna Cup: Slammo-Jnr (Slammen's Saviours) v BomberTroy (El Bombres) at Saving Grace Stadium


Here were are; the final DuFFLe games for 2024. Thank you to all franchises who, again, have made this a really fun fantasy competition and best of luck to The Captain, MattyT, Slammo-Jnr and BomberTroy. And so to the final Kiss of Death predictions.


The Captain v MattyT: There’s nothing in the ruck contest between the two. The big Nanky might have shaded the Big O across the year, but it’s close. However, El Primero’s backline is superior to that of the Jokers so MattyT has the edge here. The pendulum swings, though, with the midfield as here lies the Jokers’ day-in day-out strength. I really think this premiership contest will be decided by the forwards. Both teams have good scoring power and they need to find the big sticks this weekend to give their team glory. KOD - El Primero by four points.



There are great differences between the teams vying for the Pollyanna Cup. El Bombres have a vastly superior ruck in Reilly O’Brien to the Saviours’ Bailey Williams but this disadvantage should be well-compensated by Slammo-Jnr’s backs and midfield who have a decisive edge. Similar to the premiership game, the forwards need to fire. If Jake Waterman scores well for the Saviours, they should hand the Pollyanna Cup to Slammo-Jnr. Misfire, and BT could well snatch the victory. KOD - Saviours by eight points.

We haven't beaten Matty this year in 2 attempts (or Blocker in 3 attempts) so this weekend would be a great time for an upset. Our Backs have been our curse all year, and missing Ridley and McGovern doesn't help.
