The Reign of the Bunnies is Over Remarkably similar to the Conservatives performance in the recent UK elections, Moptop has been unceremoniously dumped from power and one has to question whether the Rabbits have any future in the 2024 premiership or will be left as an interesting footnote to the season due to their record-breaking winning streak. It’s all well and good to poke fun at the fallen, but let us give credit to the vanquisher. Junior’s Saviours had an unbelievably unlucky start to the season but they have persevered and are now seventh on the DuFFLe ladder with a bullet. (For those too young to remember, if you were on the “hit charts” back in the day and you had a bullet-point icon next to your song, you were on an accelerated climb to assured success.) Slammo-Jnr has a team to be feared. The Saviours will score well, usually, but have the ability to bring out a big one every now and then. Don’t say you weren’t warned. Congrats to The Blocker who kept the dangerous Dukes at bay, and Cookie who wrested the top spot on the ladder with a big win over The Colonel’s Trannies. MattyT ensured that 2024 will be forever in Biz’s nightmares with a good 149-132 victory and The Captain reminded all of the Joker’s firepower with their big win over Straddo’s Souls. The Bay Bros had a solid win against BT but results didn’t fall in FD’s favour for her to reclaim a top eight spot.
