FINALLY Deservedly so, Slammo-Jnr has at last crossed the finish line in front of the opposition and will be celebrating at Saving Grace Stadium as Straddo’s Souls limp home via the team bus. Well done, Jnr. May there be many more victories before the HomeNaway completes. I must admit that The Captain has flown under the radar so far this year but maybe we should be taking note of the Jokers’ squad. An impressive victory today over BT’s Bombres has The Captain ensconced at 5-and-5 and sitting pretty with a healthy aggregate points score. Until now, the Jokers could have been the unrecognised lurking threat. Blocker, however, is well-recognised as a premiership challenger and WillsieAir easily accounted for MattyT’s crew. Blocker is a challenger but I’m not sure what to make of Boss Hog. The Dukes have scored superbly this week to demolish The Colonel’s Trannies, but can Boss Hog maintain the rage? I am uncertain but his victory this week keeps the Dukes in the top eight. Cookie’s Ingredients were too good for the Bay Bros and the undermanned Superstars fell well-short of the reliable Rabbits. Good grief! Moptop still has not lost a game. I think this might be a DuFFLe record. Round 9:
