Magnificent Souls Defeat Brave Stars


Absolutely a final for the DuFFLe memoirs. Straddo’s Souls over came Bizkit’s Superstars in a high-scoring grand final worthy of the 2023 Premiership Trophy. What a superb season by both Bizkit and Straddo. Worthy finalists and the Souls were worthy champions. Biz’s Stars overcame setback after setback but still fought their way through to the last game of the season and only to be defeated by one of the best squads the DuFFLe has witnessed.

In the Richmond Cup, FD1016 gets to lift the silver trophy as her team triumphed over Hypen’s Heroes. Well done to the Bay Bros.

I was following the games between beers over here but Larkey broke our hearts and made it tough to watch. Had no idea Pittonet wasn't playing, could have gone a different way if our ruckman had showed up but Straddo has definitely been the best side all season. Well deserved mate and I'll owe you a beer at the year end catch up.

Also, a massive thank you to Merc who somehow makes this comp run so smoothly despite us acting like idiots.

Now I'm off to face the Indonesian national side who have an English import who bowls 145km. This will definitely go well.
