First of the Bye Rounds


Teams with byes this week: Brisbane St Kilda, Sydney, Fremantle.

If you haven’t done so already, top up your squads with up to four currently uncontracted players. Once the Bye Rounds are over, these players return to the uncontracted pool.

Round 12 commences at 5:50pm this Friday so your team needs to be submitted to this thread by 5:40pm (WA time) on Friday. Please check your teams carefully for those scheduled not to play as well as injured/suspended players.

Kiss of Death
So when we get to the Dreaded Bye Rounds, it is often a case of who is most affected by the byes in contrast to which coach and squad are better. With that in mind...
  • A strong Slammo squad will defeat the weakened Bay Bros by 25 points.
  • This first bye round is not to PK's benefit. BomberTroy by 12.
  • Moppy will struggle against a near-full strength El Primero.
  • Oos has a few out but not as many as The Colonel. Knights easily.
  • Awake and PurpleThai... Both not affected a lot this week. The Hecklers by three.
  • The Captain is in a good position but Hypen has a lot of players missing. Jokers by 12.
  • Cookie also has a lot of his key players out which gives Bizkit an easy win. 30 points.
  • Straddo v Blocker. Could be a good game with both teams affected a little by the byes. Souls by six.
