Bouncedown for this round is 5:50pm WA time on Friday. So you need to submit your team by 5:40pm. Please note that the psych and I are travelling over the next few weeks and although I may be tardy in posting updates, I do intend to keep to our usual schedule and deadlines as well as I can.
Geez, we have some close games on the cards this week. But before looking at them, let's put a line through a few. Biz will do a number on Awake. FD will have the measure of the Purple Kit Kats and Blocker will be too good for Hypen's Heroes. Okay, so that's done. Let's peruse the others.
PurpleThai v BomberTroy: Neither team has set the world on fire but one side should bring up their second win for the year. It will be the Hecklers.
El Primero v Slammen's Winners: Oh boy! Both Matty and Slammo have good squads and their teams will play finals. This will be a great game and I can see Slammo sneaking away with the win.
The Wagner War Machine v Lapine Anchors: The Colonel and Moptop are thereabouts. Both have had creditable victories and disappointing losses but a win this week will keep one side close to the top eight. Seriously, there is nothing but a cigarette paper width between them. The Colonel will take it with a single digit margin.
Straddo v Cookie: 2 v 1. I think the Souls are better and Straddo has been better at picking sides this year. Souls to win and Straddo to replace Cookie at the top of the DuFFLe ladder.
The Captain v Ooslumbird: Yep, I am managing Oos's team for the remainder of the year and I hope to award him the premiership posthumously. But, the Jokers aren't just going to lie down and let the Knights trample over them. This is another pair where there is nothing between the squads. I'm picking Oos's Knights to win because I'm a better match-day coach than The Captain.
