Not too worried. We finished the game well, after 2 draining slugfests in Adelaide, where top flight opponents Carlton and Port Adelaide both looked flat and lost badly the following week. Carlton have recovered well. So will Port.
I can take this if the Toast go on to beat some top 10 teams. Forget about trading, sacking the coach etc, we will lift next week.
The only annoyance is the Worst wetting their underwear and revealing their blue n gold roots, even to a puff piece editorial. Meh. Yeo was very good, I thought. Every dog has its day.

Non negotiable, we need to kick more than 9 or 10 goals a game or we will struggle to beat every team in the comp. Alex Pearce and company cannot be expected to hold off the opposition every game, it's unfair on them and means they are subjected to higher levels of pressure than other team members.

4. 1997 - failing to win a game in the last 3 games to make finals esp Rd 21 vs Cats at home
5. QF loss to Adelaide 2006 when we butchered the ball - we win that we play WCE at home in a PF & change history
6. 2013 GF - We were never really in it even though we got back to a goal
7. Losing to Fitzroy 1996 - In some ways that loss has cemented our culture

Last year they lost to Geelong, then Port, both in Adelaide, then returned to Perth and lost to Carlton by 108. This year they only played 1 game in Adelaide and returned to beat Richmond.

I would add the 1998 final home game loss to Port in Neeshsm’s last game, and the 2016 round 5 loss to Carlton when it was obvious Freo were completely cooked and had a long rebuild ahead of them.
