After the last two weeks, we deserved a way better showing. Never going to an Eagles Derby again. What a horrible experience. The condescension. We are mid. We got beaten everywhere. Forward, mid, back, ruck, contested marking, transition, pressure. Absolutely insipid. I thought it was just JLo, but it’s more, it’s the cattle. We give up a good player or two every year, and now our bottom 10 players wouldnt be playing in most other teams.

There was a game 15-20 years ago, I think against North where we spent most of the last quarter chipping the ball around, making the odd mistake and letting them score whittling down our lead. By the end of the game I thought we were going to see the first ever lynching of a team by their own home crowd.

Tonight was worse than that game.

The fact we piled on 4 goals in 7 minutes to start the last quarter before Young tweaked his hammy just shows how crap the previous 3 quarters were, and if anything made it harder to watch! If JLo doesn't make a statement either through selection or behind the scenes and the playing group come out firing in the coming weeks then he may as well walk away, because this team with this coach will never make a GF unless something changes.

Could not have said it better, the first 3 qs were as bad as a team can play , would not have beaten North and they are a basket case no what $$$$ and Clarko and the AFL powers do.
JL always looks confused and at least 15 minutes behind what's actually happening.
Pierce is a champ all year and chokes at home in a Derby ?
Jackson is a huge giant natural talent but seems to have no edge or mongrel
