Does the boy have wardrobe problems, has he just put on that much muscle that there are now nipple issues or is he just a bit OCD?

Last year it was the endless subtle smoothing his wondrous locks over his ears. This year it's the constant thumbs in the arm holes getting some air on the pecs. It looks like he's terribly uncomfortable with the petrochemical based stretch textile material made into jumpers three sizes too small these days.

I thought Sebit was out for the rest of the season…good to see he’s still up and about.

Gotta say, Jye is one tough nut and he must have a seriously good temperament. I would have lost my shit many times over if I’d copped what he has in recent weeks especially considering the cold indifference of the umpires.

It’ll be interesting to see if Jye can cope with the ‘extra attention’ and go on to have a strong second season. If Freo are to make finals and be a serious threat, we need him to be kicking more than one or two goals a game when the whips are cracking, brassiere, or no brassiere.

On cotton v polyester for sport, polyester is terrible for cricket, and while I’m not yet into lawn bowls, I won’t bother until they bring back the ‘old school’ outfits. The coloured poly gear is impractical and worst of all unflattering. You might as well be wearing those bloody fishing things you see everywhere in the NT.
