Yesterday just highlights one of the many reasons I think Freo (and probably more than a few supporters) have been growing a third testicle for a while now. How else do we survive the constant perceived umpire and AwFL bias, being on the end of the football version of Murphy’s law almost religiously and our own one of a kind, frustrating Freo brand of failure. Sigh! Anyways, on a side note. While I get the AwFL is a business, blah, blah, and the growth of the game is paramount, etc., has the AwFL ever thought that they are losing the traditional football state supporters? Gather round is generally well received and almost like a mini World Cup atmosphere , which is great… for South Australia. The opening round in the other states. What the hell has WA received in the past few years to keep the supporters here happy and growing numbers? The GF was only played here by default due to Covid.
