Against Brissie and again yesterday there were five mids across the centreline for centre bounces.
Sharp has been recruited for that role, seemed the oddfellow out,obviously when he was rested we had the five mids across the centreline
Johnson starts many times on the wing.
If O'Driscol returns to form ,where will the mids go,half forward line looks pretty set,will they spend more time offield?

So Purple they've toyed with the idea of Darcy,Jackson Serong and Brayshaw starting in the centre bounce.
If you have Sharp and O'driscoll on the wings ,that means Fyfe ,O'Meara ,Johnson and maybe Erasmus on the bench ,not gonna happen .
You cannot have all mids on the bench.Fyfe in ,Brayshaw out on the wing , as it happened yesterday.
and rotated .
It's a matter of too many numbers ,all those mentioned are class players ,who comes out of the half forward line ?
This is a good problem to have as it's showing we are getting real depth to our squad.

O’Driscol & Erasmus didn’t play yesterday, so if they were to come in it would mean two of the others you mentioned would come out. So you still have the same number of mids in the team.

Hypothetical situation,Say we have a great year play finals get very close to the GF,but drop off to say fith.
With the squad we have now,what do you think the club will go for in the draft,more so all the drafts as there is more than one these days.
More mids,tall backs,tall forwards?
We dont have an old list ,we have depth across the line,Draper coming in and looking very much at home for instance.
Assuming noone else leaves It would be nice to get another Jackson type.
They have to use their picks every year ,I dont know what this years draftees are rated at ,do we trade off our early picks and bank on the following year or?
It's taken the best part of five years to get to this point,time to trade up?

Just saying it now but there is a young kid (around 15) running around in South Bunbury at the moment who would fit in as a Fyfe type in a few years - bout when Brayshaw and Serong are coming to the really mature stage of their careers.

His name is Carter Bailey - and yes the name is the right way around.

We have 3 first round picks this year (ours, Collingwood's and Port's) as well as the Saints 2nd round pick and we'll likely only use one of those 1st rounders at most. We're likely to use those picks to trade for Logan McDonald and Chad Warner to add more quality young West Aussies still yet to reach their peak.

There's still plenty of room for improvement in the midfield and elsewhere on the field.

Why would we trade for Chad Warner Biz?

I thought he had signed at Sydney for while last year. Seems pretty happy there and isn't his brother there as well. Not sure that we will shift him in a hurry. To make it worse I thought the family were Slime orientated.

I have also heard the younger brother at high school might be better again. Wouldn't we draft him instead, though I am not sure when he becomes draftable and that might be 3-4 years away.
