In spite of the usual sneering abuse he received on this website during the week, I thought Tabs didn’t do too badly. He provided a target up forward, kicked two goals (could have been four), and competed well on the wing when we came out of defence (something we’ve lacked) . I know he should be dropped after that performance, but I’d give him another chance.

Until he kicked those 2 goals I was thinking, Gee I wonder how Vossy would be going today if given the chance but after that he sprang to life and looked a bit like the Tabs of old. Definitely earnt himself another run against the Crows next week.
And how good was Bailey Banfield, 18 disposals and 2 goals, very impressive and instrumental in the win today. One of his best performances I thought.

Serviceable game from Tabs, and as much as it pains me to say it, deserves another game next week.
I’d love him to push off his opponent in a one on one or pack mark situation. He tends to try and hold out his opponent and then go at the mark one handed.

Tabs always seems to struggle in his first game back from injury or ommittance, so I wasn't surprised by his first half. I was, however, more than pleasantly surprised by hi second half efforts.

Tabs actually kicked goals after half time, which is a new thing. And Banfield was great, but he really should learn to shepherd. Twice he gave it to someone under pressure and didn't manage to protect them.
