A few thoughts:

Who has been down to training in the mornings lately, and who looks good out of the gate? We’ve really struggled in the first quarters of AM games, so I’d be inclined to pick an extra early-riser or two.

Is anyone scared of the quiet or echos? Jordan Clark strikes me as someone who shouldn’t be left alone with his own thoughts. I reckon we should start him on the bench, maybe with headphones playing music, until he has time to adjust.

Who watched the game last week and thought we’d look better in attack with Taberner getting in the way of Amiss and Tracey? I hope he’s given a role to run up to the wing (as a decoy or otherwise).

The teams never run out as named, but if Cam Zurhaar and Luke Ryan did end up playing on each other, who gets reported first?

Taberner bench and Erasmus emergency !!!! Erasmus needs more gametime to help with his development and confidence. Tabs has been hot and cold as a forward perhaps an opportunity down back may prove fruitful. For me Erasmus should be on the bench.

My first thought when I saw Taberner’s name was that he’ll just get in the way of Amiss and Tracey. That’s what he does, just gets in everyone’s way.
I’m hoping he proves me wrong but personally I’d like to see him on the bench… preferably the one in Queens Park.

maybe Tabs will just come on and off the bench when Jackson needs a break leaving Amiss and Treacy up forward, could come on when one of them needs a break. maybe he'll finally have that break out game 10 gls.

Taberner is the right selection, he will lead right up the wing. If he gets in anyone's way, it will be Sharp's on the wing.

Amiss is best used as an old-fashioned, stay-at-home, leading forward, and Treacy as the pack crasher inside 50.

I think the 3 complement each other well. I didn't like Cox much as a forward, before his injury he didn't do much except get a gifted goal. We will have 3 different tall forward options now. Jackson makes the 4th of course when one of them is on the bench.
