I think that North Melbourne invested their future in Clarkson and the AFL couldn't afford for them to lose that future, so they set up a weak inquiry designed to come to no conclusion, over something there were going to be minimal consequences for anyway.
They frame these things as equating to a trial, so that a lack of a conclusion means the person is entirely off the hook. It wasn't never about crime, it was about character.
What we do know is that three grown men showed up at the house of a young woman to help her boyfriend break up with her, and they claim that was all normal. Just normal employment stuff where all your bosses come out for relationship help.
It doesn't matter what the inquiry didn't find, we can see what they're like as people. They're nutjobs, all three of them. Creepy nutjobs.
