I do, they obviously zone off in defense and play on various opponents across the game when situations dictate. That's why Ryan ended up chasing Cameron sometimes. The point is, Hughes wasn't playing on a difficult forward.
Also, only 1 coach gave Huges 3 votes and it's almost 99% going to be JLo. I'll say again, what did Hughes do to be the third best player on the ground?
11 Freo players had more of the footy and that doesn't include Darcy (43 hit outs and a goal), Amiss (3 goals and important marks), Sonny (3 important goals), Freddy (2 goals and some electric touches) or even the defenders doing their job like Pearce who took 8 marks in one of his better performances for the season. I'd like to see the argument for Hughes being the third best on ground.
