The DISTORTED VOLUME LEVEL at the ground literally makes it impossible to even have a chat to your neighbour/friends/family. I'm sick of it.

The people YELLING into the microphone need to learn that they are ALREADY amplified.

I was too busy fuming to enjoy the game.

Now I'm trying to watch the reply and it looks like Fox Sport had the work-experience kid camera producing, often unable to find the ball.

A good win by Walyup against a competitive team missing quite a few first choice players - Dangerfield, Duncan, C. Guthrie, O. Henry and Rohan.

If the players played with that level of intensity at the start of the season, they would well & truly be inside the 8, not just outside. They can beat the Premiers but lose to the Wooden Spooners.

Beat Narrm next week and they might be back in town. Richmond, Giants & Essendon are all winnable games after that.

Treacy makes a huge difference in the forward line. His contesting creates opportunities for the smalls so many times he moved the ball to their advantage in contests creating goals. A true 1percenter.

It’s a good turnaround but I hope the team doesn’t get ahead of itself. Both Sydney and Geelong were significantly down on personnel while we are close to full fitness (a rarity in recent times). Hopefully we are simply getting our act together ahead of playing full strength top notch teams.

Freo also have had a few out, and a few carrying injuries in the last couple of games. Don't use that as an excuse for Freo performing better than you have been predicting.

The joke of the commentary season was last weekend's claim that the Swans were decimated by injuries during the game after Mills went off. He was their only injury for the game.

IYou can only beat the teams in front of you. Sydney and Geelong have significant injuries, but many teams do by this time of year. Freo - by good management or good luck - have arguably the healthiest squad in the league.

Hodor deserves a lot of credit. Brayshaw has lifted his game. Fyfe has helped in bursts. Serong is an absolute ripper.

But to my eye a lot of the improvement has come from Amiss. His movement in the forward line is excellent and his teammates are already looking for him confident he’ll be there. Jackson is enough of a threat that defences need to worry about him, and our smalls are working off them.

I’m not sold on Treacy. Four touches and two marks isn’t enough output, but I think the balance is pretty good at the moment so I’d give him another couple of weeks.

Not many doing hamstrings and calves maybe they are timing their run? Brayshaw has been carrying a knee injury.

Darcy is a little over rated in my view. I am being serious here. Blicvas was everywhere in that first half, Darcy just can't defend cause he cant get around the ground. Switkowski found himself covering half the time. We looked better when Jackson is on the ball. Darcy is a player of course, I don't think he's anywhere near the best in the competition though.

One more thing. Truly believe the umpiring gifted Geelong five goals and us one. I thought they were of the mind that they would let play go, save for the tiniest infraction in front of Geelong goal.
