Why does he need to get his head right? He was simply outstanding in 2022, and then played a couple of average (not bad) games in 2023. He’s been shown no faith by the selection committee even though he is clearly a better player than some who have been getting games (Hughes, ODriscoll, Henry, Erasmus, Johnson …. none of whom have been bad, and some will only get better, but Brodie is the superior player at this stage of their careers). If his head isn’t in the right space I hope it’s because of external factors and not the way in which he’s been shunted off by the club.
