Of course Fyfe craves a premiership. What player wouldn't crave a premiership to round out their glittering (or otherwise ) career? It's what every kid who kicks Sherrin dreams about.

That doesn't mean he's going to leave.

Pretty sure Pav, Mundy, Sandi, Roger, Johnno, the list goes on, all craved a premiership and none of them left. Countless similar examples at other clubs too.

I crave a premiership. I'm just telling you all as my closest friends. I hope this doesn't change anything between us.

I tried reading it but couldn't get past the first paragraph.

Made me feel dirty. It's just not news, nor is it worth publishing. We live in dark times when this is the quality of our State's only daily paper.

Forty years ago a University lecturer told the class I was in that The West was written for Primary school level. We’ve been in the dark for quite a while if a population are judged on the quality of their newspapers.

What are you complaining about, we’ve got Langers double page spread every Saturday to enlighten us all on the meaning of life.

Someone certainly is ghostwriting it. He certainly doesn't speak like he "writes"

I’m not sure if I’ve told this story here before, but back in 2016 there was a physio I used to go to, and one day we were having a chat and she said Pauline Hanson got a bit of a rough trot with the media because the way she spoke made her an easy target. I was in a vulnerable position, and so I answered her as honestly and diplomatically as I could, which is to say that I’m glad we have a representative senate, because it means that people of many different persuasions could have a voice in the Parliament; and that even though I don’t agree with Hanson, it’s a worse outcome when people at the fringes don’t feel they are represented in the Parliament at all.

Although that is true, what I mostly think is that I’m glad the far right nationalist crackpots we have in Parliament tend to be idiots, and not something even more dangerous.

Anyway, a few weeks later I head back to the physio, and as I walk in her hand is up, and she’s like ‘high five’, and I was confused, and beaming she says ‘Donald Trump!’…..and I awkwardly hi-fived her. I think about that hi-five a lot.

What’s this got to do with Sumich? Well, when he speaks he sounds like an idiot, when he writes you can't hear him speak, but he’s too much of an idiot to be really damaging. That piece is too overblown. Had he been more subtle about Darcy potentially leaving it would have probably hit harder. Instead he sounds like some old drunk in a bar telling stories.

And that’s Robbo’s job.

It's stupid but it's still better than Xavier Ellis.

This is the story we get from The West when the subbies realised, to their horror, that ChatGPT only goes up to 2021.
