In particular I liked seeing Treacy making strong lingering tackles (within the rules).
His shepherd on the goal line, his clearing out an opponent for Andy Brayshaw running with the flight to take a mark. Contesting marks and getting the ball to ground, clearing out the defence by leading to a pocket allowing Amiss to mark. Even his goal was due to footy smarts that drew a free kick.
He missed a running kick on goal and his hands are like frying pans at times but his footy IQ reminds me of Sean Darcy a good footballer, JT has plenty of upside, he’ll clunk them soon enough if his future career prospects aren’t measured on every contested mark.
