Apparently the kid is a natural winger. Last year he requested a trade to freo that didn't get done, he already has one foot out the door. Dewy wouldn't be that keen on playing /developing him not that he is not a good winger.

I've have a question. When did Blake Acres play a game like that for us?

He's had one put off the box and it's a skewed his averages up for the beginning year.

In fairness though i'd have offered him 350. 250 was an insult.

But the mere mention of Logue? Forgive my mirth. Every one would be baying for blood if we'd matched north's offer, not even taking into account what a north are getting for that investment this year.

Also corps, don't forget Hogan didn't want to be here. He hated the fish bowl.

Disagree Mont. He always wanted to play for Fremantle. He didn't want to leave. That's not saying he or anyone would like the constant media paparazzi here.

Are we talking about hogan? Because if we are that's the first time I've heard or read that he didn't want to leave.

Acres improved out of sight in his last season and a half with us. His form certainly raised eybrows because prior to that I didn't think he was much good. We should have paid him what he asked for.

When he was in Melbourne, Hogan really wanted to come west to Freo.

At some point after arriving, the shine started to wear off, likely due to a whole range of factors (the media being one of those). And then he wanted to leave

Hogan had a really rough few years just before getting back to Perth, with his Dad passing away and being diagnosed with testicular cancer. The he got home, was injured a lot in his first year home, then COVID hit and he had a rookie coach who didn't know what to do with him.

For sure Jesse didn't do himself any favours, and I don't think coming home offered the comfort he was seeking, but I reckon the coaches decided he was too big a distraction when the focus was rightly on bringing through the young kids. I understand that decision, but I think there are certain players that are worth investing that energy into, and Jesse was one of them.

It's worth asking the question, how do you reckon Freo would go if young players like Dusty, Toby Green and Dane Swan walked through the front door? Some clubs try to find the balance in setting standards for the group while making accommodations for different personalities. I don't think JLo and Bell are wired to do that.

I think it`s a Perth thing and not down to our management, especially post the Cousins saga.
The rag would be appear to be determined to drag down Freo in pursuit of bears.
