forward structure non existent, did we have one?
forwards unable to take uncontested marks or create a contest when the long ball came in.
very few attempts to kick it inboard by the defenders and botched when attempted.
Henry needs to play wing or not at all.
Erasmus and Johnson need game time.
back six were superb, willo probably the least of them but still solid.

Settle down. That was St Kilda's Grand Final. or I guess their preliminary final because they actually won it.

They were very excited to be back, flooding Marvel stadium and ruining the sport of football for everyone. Good luck to them, but they won't win outside of their home ground, and you can't win a flag if you don't.

It's a tiny blip on the road to the 2023 flag.

A real disappointing game - our defence while it gave up,some stupid goals - saved us. Midfielders were well beaten and the less said of our talls in the forward line the better. To be honest our game plan is not up to scratch and good coaches stifle our ball movement. It is up to Longmuir to see if he can reinvent the plan, but too late now.

Not sure if the tall forwards are no good or it’s ball movement. Unfortunately Fyfe has been tried as a forward ad naseum and while he can pinch hit as a permanent has been disappointing. Today he Just lacked forward smarts with his decision making.
Josh treacy was terrible but he has only played 20 games and I am not sure he is playing on instinct.

Really poor first game and hopefully they improve, but they really are so faraway from the top teams.

Fyfe needs to go back to where he does his best work, as a reactive and strong midfielder. Hopeless as a forward.
I’m at a loss as to what we should do with the non-existing key forward. Amiss?
I was surprised that Sean Darcy didn’t go down there more today and Jackson more in the ruck, it obviously wasn’t working the other way around.

Longmuir has taken 5 1/2 months to produce that dross and was out coached and beaten by a side that had at least 5 of their best out.

I think the players watched Longmuir being interviewed just before the game started, he actually stated he was more nervous and anxious than anything else, remind you of how we played?

For goodness sake man, you’ve got a talented team, let them play and take the game on.
