The bloke couldn't get a gig at GC and wasn't big enough to be a KPF. I questioned why we went so hard at him when we traded for him and that remains true today. Especially when we have so many other options for a mid-sized forward if the intention was Fyfe moving there. That and there's a tonne of other options in state leagues for a mid-sized forward that were free (like Emmett).

We'll see how he goes at Peel and whether he can push his way into the side.

Will Brodie was far from a no name, he was a very high draft pick that I championed drafting instead of Logue (he went the pick after). Brodie was fantastic for GC but struggled to get ahead of their more senior existing inside midfielders. He performed really well when given opportunities as a kid and injuries/senior players stopped him from getting a game.

Corbett has never achieved anything and is far older, it's an interesting decision.

I don’t mind the trade, actually cost less in draft capital than Emmett, he’s a stronger bodied Medium forward who will come in if both Fyfe and Tabs are injured to take some physical pressure off our younger/smaller forwards.
IIRC he had an injury earlier in the preseason so hasn’t had a great run at presenting his case,
