Meek is the trade we will regret, Jackson is no Darcy when it comes to carrying the workload of the ruck week in, week out. Meek has shown he can step up to the number 1 workhorse role in the ruck, Jackson, like Lobb, is a bit part player when it comes to 23+ games of bash & crash.

Workhorse is a good description for Meek.

Now, serious question: If Meek is leading Hawthorn's ruck attack next year, when he comes up against Darcy and Jackson do Meek's pants get pulled all the way down or just to knee height?

I'd adjust for Meek being quite tall, and go with his pants being around his shins, but not low enough for him to trip over them.

Jackson is an excellent ruckman, round 15 when gawn was out this year he dominated. 21 possession, 18 hitouts, 9 tackles and a goal.
He has rare athleticism and skill for his size so coaches try to utilise him in hybrid roles, but don't let that detract from the fact that he can also be a true dominant number 1 ruck if put in that role

Meek was only a backup ruckman (4 games) no more no less. We'll find a stand in (if required, hopefully not) with 44 or even 67 for next season. Must be some good young guys in the WAFL surely to pinch hit for us?
