Yes, Jeff. Because the first thing a victim of abuse wants to hear is that they need to prove the allegation themselves before you believe them.
How about the management of the club regularly review their practices to ensure a safe working environment for their employees, including an abusive president, rather than rely on victim statements to identify problems.
