I just want to reiterate, that's not a strong draft hand Hypen, that's a regular draft hand. In addition to that, if all we're getting for these players is late second or third round picks then I'd rather hold them. This draft isn't one likely to have a huge amount of talent near those picks.
It's a pretty even spread after the first round at an average level from what I've seen and heard. You'd rather hold players who are contracted than enter the draft at that point. Give us a top 20 pick or package players up to get one.
There's only ever about half a dozen 'good' ruckman in the competition at the moment with the next half dozern honest battlers and then a big drop off after that. Meek holds value as potentially being able to push into the second group next season and for that, I'd hope for a top 20 pick given the scarcity of ruckman and the trade value of them. He's also contracted which means a club will have to pay something decent to get him over.
Callum Coleman-Jones was worth a second round pick last year (what is pick 19 this year) and I'd think Meek has shown more and is a better talent than him.
