I am thinking why have a double chance when if we do get 4th we will meet Geelong in Geelong?
I am not confident we will win that.. but if we finish 5th or 6th we will have a home final and I am way more confident we can beat whoever is 7th or 8th. I think it is better for the boys to win a final than take a loss ..

The game isn't likely to be at KArdinia Park, which is a building site. It would also be a bad look to keep sending Freo down to Geelong to play finals.
Wherever it is, given history, Geelong will not be happy playing us.

As for 5th or 6th,rather than 4th, absolutely not. Finish 4th and you've got a chance of a week's break (which we could use) and home prelim; even if you lose you're at home the following week. 5th or 6th you get a home final week one, sure, but it's away every week from there.
