After a poor start to the year Sonny seemed to be improving but the last few outings haven’t been great. Only six possessions and 32 Dreamteam points today (the lowest in the team). I really hope he can string some form together before finals come around.

It's not so much Sonny's output today for mine. It's that he had half a dozen one on one's with a 19yo kid who would be blown over by a gust of wind. It's not his game to out body someone and use his superior bulk to win contests but he kept throwing himself to the ground against a bloke who couldn't push a trolley downhill into a breeze. He legitimately should have had 3/4 shots on goal if he actually tried to win those contests based on ability and strength.

PA were awesome in Q4 knowing it was a last hurrah for 2022 and we did very well to get through it with a win. Those easy misses by them at the end, well to me that is what usually happens (except in that 2014 final) when you have run yourself into team-wide exhaustion chasing down a 40 pt margin. Gray probably did a double marathon today.

PA have only themselves to blame for their loss. You cannot allow the other team to get to a margin of 40 points and then try and peg that back late in the game. In that regard on balance Dockers deserved to win. Should'ves, could'ves would'ves don't matter. You have to play four qtrs not one and a half and expect to win. It's that simple.

We had the better of Port for over two and a half quarters, usually thats enough to win a game of footy and today was no different. Port are a very good side, they`ve won 7 of their last 9 games coming in and are darn hard to beat.
Walters was rusty coming off his injury, sure.
Fyfe did well and basically doubled his output from a week ago, hes tracking nicely.
Young went up another notch today, what a star he is going to be. Other than everything bouncing Ports way in the last and a couple of flukey goals from Dixon, we did alright.
This has to be the most even season in memory.
I am just grateful we are in it up to our eyeballs this late in the season.

Great to bag the four points, however, glaring disposal errors from some of our younger defenders were telling. Fantastic game from Clark and Aish as well as Serong and Darcy. At the game many supporters willing Son Son to do well only to be disappointed. Acres, O’Drisscol and Chappy would be handy

I never mentioned staging for frees but falling to ground under the pressure of a wet paper towel is just pathetic. Sonny is so much better than that and he should have show what he can do on a skinny kid.
