There were some key differences, the first being that MJ's was a club imposed suspension and Smith was suspended by the AFL. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, MJ was caught by the police and charged with possession. Smith was filmed at a party and the AFL were relying on a confession as to what occurred. Third, there is 12 years between them.

How long for DeGoey. As far as I can see in the video he hasn’t done anything wrong. He’s in Bali with the clubs blessing. In a pub/club as you would expect, doing what a big chunk of 25 year olds would be doing. He’s been playing good footy.
