Need I remind you that this mob is the same one beaten by West Coast a few weeks ago. It speaks to how poor Freo were. It's not like Collingwood are tactical geniuses, but it is amazing what attacking the footy hard rather than waiting for it to come to you will do for a team. I suggest Freo get back to trying it.

If as Bizkit suggests, that we need someone to tell the coach how we need to play in the wet, then we’re in trouble.

We’ve a great list of players and Collingwood made us look very average. So was it the players or coaching staff fault or both, I don’t know, over to you Messrs Alcock, Bell and Longmuir……again.

All I know is that if we keep playing like the last two weeks we’ll need a sponsor like Woodside because fans won’t pay to see that carp.

Like Treacy last week, Lobb was effective at bringing the ball to ground, but we would then be outnumbered at ground level by an opposition swarm that always found a free outlet.

My first selection move would be to bring in Hughes or Hamling for Griff in defence. The turnover in the last quarter smacked of arrogance and selfish football. He ignored team mates who were in the clear and went against what has been a strength for us this season, teamwork. I think he's been reading too much of his name in the media and after talk of Eastern states teams hunting him when off contract we then hear that he's put contract talks with Freo off to end of season. Head not in the game on Sunday and I'd send him back to the WAFL to think about his contract and how to play team football.

Treacy, but he got rubbed out in the WAFL last year when he made his presence felt. He's a bit more cautious these days but I think he would have been more effective than Lobb and Taberner's combined efforts yesterday.

That result wasn’t the fault of Logue, Lobb or Banfield. If your looking for players to blame I would add Frederick, Cox, Taberner, Brayshaw, Chapman and Pearce to the list of poor performers yesterday. People waiting for Sturt to save the day should look at his WAFL numbers. How many have actually watched him play? Players have demonstrated capacity to play at the level over previous 7 games. Our forward line wasn’t a problem during this run.
Anybody watching the first quarter on Sunday knew if we persisted with that style we were up against it. Darcy Cameron even said once we started sideways movement they were happy.

We looked weak
We looked like we lacked basic skills

I mean what else is there to say? Most of the boys definitely didn't seem up for it. I will add, it's possible that I may have been critical of Walters once or twice in recent times but he really seemed to be standing up and putting in some effort on Sunday and I think that's a great turn around from him and bodes well for the rest of the season.

We will hoping for a dry track this Saturday.
Playing Melbourne is the biggest test for every team.
I hope we pull one out of the hat.

When we played Nth Melbourne we had 18 tackles inside fwd 50, but on Sunday we only had 4.
