Freo a definite top 4 chance now. I have Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney ahead of us, but 4th spot and a home final is certainly something to aim for.

I wouldn’t put anyone ahead of us, Davo. Apart from the obvious fact that none of them have played us (let’s face it, the Dees haven’t played anyone), this full court defensive press we’re employing, our amazing youth and speed and the quality of our leaders could mean anything. If we rolled over Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney when we play them I would t be the least bit surprised.
I would t be surprised if they rolled over us either. It’s that kind of season.

Shane, I'm sure if Champion Data delved deep into their statistics, which would show "True Ladder Position" they would come up with a ladder that had Norfs at 17th position and the eagles at 35th on the ladder in our 18 team competition.

GCS play well at Metricon, so next week is a danger game.

They seem to have Sydney 's measure too for some unexplainable reason.

But they have never made the finals and I can't see 2022 being any exception.

Game v GCS is definitely going to be a tough one if they play like they did today against Sydney. If we are not on our game for 4 qtrs the result may not be what we want. The media critics (and commentators) are waiting for us to fail. Excuses galore and sympathy for WC is sickening but not for Freo under any circumstances.

DD, eagles had 4 out to covid this week, Freo 6, but the talk is all about how the eagles are struck down by covid and its not fair. Remember back to 201? when Mark Harvey was almost the last playing coach in the AFL and Freo had the bare minimum of players, no need to select the side, they just had to place the 21 available. No sympathy or gnashing of teeth then. Soft, self indulgent lazy and undisciplined rabble, you eagles.
