Fremantle have priority access to the fast-improving ruck-forward through their Next Generation Academy, provided he falls outside of the first 20 picks, which is a near-certainty. He’s put together some exciting performances at national under-19s and WAFL colts levels to show earn a draft combine invite. Had a great finals series for Claremont playing mainly in the ruck and turned the game in their favour with a massive third quarter. Has got some nice athletic traits, moves well for a player of his size and is more than capable as a key forward.

There is none. He's young and has raw talent and he is learning all the time. I watched him in the Colts GF which Claremont lost and at the beginning of the game his taller opponent was wrestling him at ruck contests and Eric was being completely nullified but he learnt and adapted during the game and in the second half he was standing clear initially and leaping over the top of his opponent in a performance that nearly helped Claremont over the line. It's this untapped ability and capacity to improve his game that makes him such an exciting proposition and potential future partner to Sean Darcy. A different type of ruck prospect with so much untapped potential. He was being compared today to Paddy Ryder but I think he could also be compared to Stephen Michael with his mobility around the ground.

Love this pick and glad Freo put him on the list to give him confidence and time to develop rather than a rookie or Cat B spot..
He looks a real goer.
I only saw him live in the Colts GF and like some others have said he did remind me of the great TI..Maybe with a bit of Goodesy to go with it.
He could be a new age hybrid play anywhere type ala Nik Cox.
