Im not really across all the rules. In the AFL can two clubs continue to pay a person wages and the amounts go into the respective salary caps. We pay him $500K and GWS do the same?

Injuries and losing his pace have caught up with him.

I don't think GWS has him in their best 22 anymore and he's shown he doesn't particularly like Freo, so he wouldn't be a good fit here on a number of grounds.

This story was probably started by GWS trying to get out of a dud contract. He'll do Freo more good by staying where he is and soaking up a decent slice of their salary cap.

CA he was always coming back to them..when drafted GWS were told by family and him - it was a waste of a pick. He grew up loving WCE and wanted to come back..Somehow GWS kept him there. I suppose the flag looked a real possibility..
