For those disputing the goal what is their argument? Did the ball go out of bounds when Serong had it and snapped the goal?
Did Crowden, the player who hand passed the ball over his head to Serong take the ball out of bounds? If they didn't how can anyone argue that Serong's goal shouldn't have counted? How far back do you replay i.e., two, three four plays? When Serong had taken possession the ball was in play and he kicked an instinctive, determined goal to help his team get over the line. There should be no argument going forward about whether this deserved to be GOTY.
