He might not be experienced at coaching, but imagine having Jonno Brown taking young JT under his wing. That would have a few backman weighing up retiring!

The way we get coaches we will end up with Buddy Franklin and Polly will lose his mind.

Chris Mayne strikes me as a very efficient ball user and could be an ideal forward line coach. We need someone to teach our forwards how very valuable every shot is as so far no-one rarely cares where the ball goes! I hope he gets the job he couldn't do any worse than those that have gone before him.

Hale was a ruckman who did damage by creating clearances then drifting forward and kicking goals. Some of you might want to think about Sean Darcy's development through 2020-2021.

I'm not saying Hale is the ultimate forwards coach, but credit where credit is due.

I agree with the earlier point made about actually recruiting forwards. Not rookie picks with the hope of winning lotto , but actually top end picks.
That way a forward coach can have something to work with.
