Mark Duffield reckons we're targetting Will Brodie from Gold Coast to replace Cerra...

"Fremantle have expressed some preliminary interest in big-bodied Gold Coast midfielder Will Brodie as the Dockers start exploring short and long-term replacements for the soon-to-depart Adam Cerra.

Brodie, a top-10 draft pick in 2016, has found opportunities hard to come by in the last couple of seasons with the Suns.

Brodie, a 190cm, 89kg inside ball-winner from the Murray Bushrangers, has played 25 games in his five seasons with Gold Coast but only six in the past two seasons."

He wouldn’t be replacing Cerra. Possibly a slight upgrade on Conca, Bewley or Crowden is all.

Really, REALLY liked what I saw of Luke Jackson in last night's PF. About to turn 20 he is a tall athletic forward who last night appeared to be very handy in the ruck. Apparently is contracted for the 2022 season. Pretty sure I heard Haze on 6PR say a week or so ago that this is the player Freo should be pursuing. As our midfield and backline stocks are looking pretty solid surely the forward line should will now be a high priority. Given he is contracted for next season, what might it take to start talks and assess his interest?

Cerra, straight swap, although I’d be willing to chuck Lobb into the equation as we can’t have Lobb and Jackson in the same team as Tabs.

Hopefully get a second rounder back is it’s two players for one.

Yeah I would trade Cerra and Lobb and even pay some of Lobb's contract for next year to get Jackson.. Kozzy Pickett is also someone that might want to be part of a trade for Cerra.. He has some links to WA.. I reckon he looks like just about the most exciting small forward going around and would put bums on seats.

Noticed Motlop kicked 1.1 in South’s epic come from behind League finals game.
Also of note, in the colts final Van Rooyen kicked 3.0 up against Amiss who got doughnuts

He must really want Hase to like him, 0.1 yesterday in another finals loss, this time against the sharks, Williams kicked 2.3 from 17 disposals, 9 marks and 4 hit outs down the other end.
Motlop kicked 1.1 in a losing effort against Subi in the league final.
Johnson again BOG in a winning reserves final with 27 touches, 4 marks and 3 tackles.
