Updated following PK's comment (thanks PK).
Ahead of the trade talk that will take place over the next few weeks, the following is the current first round draft order (later picks can be found at www.afl.com.au/news/669893/indicative-dr...-in-your-clubs-picks ).
Cerra's move will hopefully shake this up a bit depending on where he ends up. it is also expected that there will be two father-son picks in the top five picks, which means that everyone slips down a couple of picks from that point onwards, making our current top pick a number 10.

This probably doesn't deserve its own post, but I wonder if there's anything to the stories coming out about Tim English.

If through some manoeuvring we could get English back as part of a Cerra deal that would be a wonderful result. We'd probably need to move Lobb for cap and role purposes, but there have already been some reports he's open to a move.

You couldn't ask for a better young ruck pairing than Darcy and English so long as English was comfortable spending more time forward and around the ground than in the ruck.

Right now, I’d rate English behind Lobb both as a forward and second ruckman, so I’d only be entertaining that idea if Lobb was definitely leaving.
Darcy is going to be our number 1 ruck for a long time, so English would need to develop his forward game a lot further if he is going to be playing regular games at freo, I’d prefer to stick with Van Rooyen, Amiss or Williams and take Benning as a rookie, who’ll need a few years to develop but would be coming on nicely when Lobb heads into retirement.

English does his best work taking undersized midfielders forward to outmark after conceding the ruck contest. He can't do that with Darcy in the side and I'm not convinced he's mobile enough to spend 80% of his time forward on an actual KPD.

He'd also cost an arm and a leg for a position we already have Darcy in. Surely there's far better uses of our trade capital and salary cap.
