I’m not so sure exceed. A lot of our players we have now wouldn’t be on our list if it wasn’t for some of those listed leaving. Granted Cerra leaving is a blow but I don’t think our club could do anymore to keep him. Let’s see what we get in exchange.

It is just an unfortunate reality that some players who are drafted interstate get homesick or have girlfriends who want to further their own careers in Melbourne. I don't think there is a way of predicting who will want to go home.

Much as we'd all have loved Cerra to stay, he's gone. Knowing that there is a good reason for it doesn't make it less painful.

We were compensated well for all those players except probably Langdon. In fact probably more than they were worth. That's the standard and we should benefit from Cerra's move too. He's proven to be a great pick at 5 and we should get much better value than we spent on him.

it sucks to lose him but now we need to capitalise on it.

Too many good TISM lyrics to mention.

Plenty of good WA boys available this year. It would be great if we could pull together a team of mostly West Aussies so we never had more than a couple wanting to head home.
