Well by 3/4 time i was really getting colder by the minute,even with two cans of bourbon ,and two cans of rum,by then.
I said to the missus fancy a coffee,rarely do that at the footy.
So off i go as one of those pop up coffee wagons are just behing us.
Me and a heap of others are doing the same thing,so they say a long wait .ok just go ahead.
Anyway as i turn around ,Sturt and Freddy are standing there with a heap of kids talking and getting selfies,but Sturt is standing a couple of mtrs away from Freddy , alone with his hands in his pockets.
So i go up to him and say go on mate get in there don't give him all the credit,there were also a few very nice looking ladies getting selfies too.
He just laughed and said it's ok mate i get plenty too?i was going to say of what ?,but didnt.
So Freddy comes over and i say g'day mate hows it going,i must say both these guys are very friendly and approachable,so we chat about a few things and i ask ok who's going to play before the end of season.
Sturt says he will be ready by preseason ,ad Freddy says if we get to finals i will play.
I then say it's a bit of a real scratchy game ,how do you watch this errr type of game.
They both said lets get over the line a win is more important.
These guys are tall,though, i'm about 5ft 10 and they were looking down to me.
By then shooter had kicked that goal so with coffee in hand i went back to my seat.
These guys must put up with this stuff a lot,they are a credit to the club.
