Seriously? They have named Banfield and Crowden..... Rewarding lack of effort in Banfield's case and inconsistency in Crowdens case does not inspire me to think that the selectors care about winning, surely both of these must be dropped?

There was a period there a couple of years ago where Duman was looking like he was developing into a great player. No idea how he doesn't fit into this team as he is easily better than a number of players. And how many chances can Bewley and Banfield get? One good game in every 5 is not afl level.

Injuries are dictating the team somewhat but there is far too much mediocrity amongst our middle tier players.

Bench: Meek, Western, Watson and Tucker (as per AFL site)

Watson is obviously preferred to Duman or Hughes at the moment in the backline.
Richmond have Nankervis and Chiol rucking so we counter with Darcy and Meek.
I would have liked to see O'Driscoll given a run but he's a backman as well. We are loaded with backs even with the injury count but bereft of forwards. Need to correct this in the 2021 draft for 2022.

I think O'Driscoll was drafted as a midfielder. Played at half back for Peel after coming back from off season injury, but has been playing in the midfield recently.

There is something more at play here with team selection than we are being told. How colyer, banfield, crowden , Henry can get games when they don’t score goals or tackle is puzzling. Yet Reece who did play forward for Richmond can’t get a game. We are 17th for overall tackles and 18th for forward 50 tackles in the AFL. Reece is a better player than some of those in particular crowden.
