It's great to see it get a run, and I know I've made this point before, but why wouldn't the club use a version of the old jumpers as clash jumpers from time-to-time instead of running with the white jumper that no-one likes.

Morgs - hate to say this, but I liked the old white/purple away anchor jumper - was probably my favourite. Notwithstanding general preference for anchors over chevrons, then, by extension I don't mind the current one.

I’m ok with the white anchor jumper.

I just figure if you’re going to have a perfectly-fine but rather plain purple and white chevron jumper as your home jumper, why not have a little fun with the away/clash jumper. Either a retro-inspired colour version (with an anchor) or an indigenous jumper as the clash jumper fir the whole season, or even the old white and purple anchor.

Even if it was just a cynical merchandise exercise. I mean, who in their right mind would pay $110 for that white jumper?

I've got to admit - the '95 away jumper was the only way I could pick out Morgan from everyone else in the city end at Subi. Now he'll be the only normal anchor amongst a pack of bloated ones at Optus.
