Henry has a knack for getting to the right spot, and currently has a knack for butchering the finish once he gets there. I think the first part is permanent, and hope the second part is temporary. I also don’t think he gets the ball enough, but perhaps on the fitness side he’s suffered from two interrupted pre-seasons.
I’d say in the absence of anyone else knocking down the door keep playing him, but the coaches need to consider what will motivate Henry to improve. Some players benefit from being kicked to the seconds, and it would spur them on to have a big pre-season to win back the spot. Coaches love doing that if the problem is something like defensive effort.
I think Henry is doing the right things, he’s just not finishing his work at the moment, so it seems a bit pointless to send him to Peel.
