Something else that's annoying me right now.
That moron Tom Stewart, who gave away a clear free by pushing Michael Walters in the back has now come out and claimed that Walters staged for the free. Geelong were getting away with all sorts of crap last night and seemingly, expected to be getting away with all sorts of crap.
Of course, the meeja run with it. This is how you get a reputation for being a stager. People keep saying it over and over until it becomes the 'truth'.
The push in the back was very, very clear. It was also clear there was no staging involved.
It's also a bit rich coming from a club with Selwood, Stagey J and a bunch of other floppers who have made a career out of staging for free kicks but you won't see the AFL meeja raising those issues.
