Thursday night football is stupid. I don't have any interested in it happening and having to go to the game on a Thursday night will be a lot less enjoyable to me than going on the weekend.

I don't like my time being used to subsidise Kerry Stoke's tv station.

They definitely did for that GC17 ‘home’ game a few years ago.

I would have thought a game against last year’s Grand Finalist would have been a marquee game before the floating COVID fixture bumped it to Thursday night.

On Thursday games, so long as they are used sparingly, I’m ok with them. I’m probably looking forward to this game more than if it was another Sunday evening fixture. I don’t know why the AFL doesn’t explore a Friday night double-header. Seems with Geelong and Freo both coming off a 5 day break for Thursday, this would have been a good week to try it.

For the record, Saturday twilight is the best.
