Carlton overpowered us last time. And we had no one who could play on Harry McKay. Maybe Pearce will get that role, or Logue. If I remember correctly, Carlton got it out of the middle way too easily, and then McKay marked and goaled. Did Sean Darcy play that game?

Anyway, Justin will have learned, and we will set up better this time round. But if we don't win, then we don't deserve to play finals.

OK, I just had a look at the stats. The top 6 possession getters were from Carlton, and then you get to Luke Ryan. When one of your defenders is your top possession getter, you know that you were thrashed in the midfield. Both Brayshaw and Cerra had 19 disposals, with Serong only slightly better at 22. Giro and Wilson had 20 each. Mundy had 16. Both Meek and Darcy played, but Fyfe and Lobb didn't.

We couldn't play that badly again.

Cripps bashed up Serong who tried to stand his ground but basically got steamrolled by a guy about 20kgs heavier and a foot taller. Lets see how that pans out against Fyfe. LOL
Also Cox was trying a new tactic of playing 9m behind McKay which Pearce is unlikely to employ.
