The problem with AFL football is there really isn't that much to analyse, in a technical sense. System, brand, DNA, method, structure - everyone is playing the same way.
If a team is going badly it will be because they are not running hard enough, not kicking straight or not winning the ball enough. That's football.
David King took all this nonsense from the NFL. What analysts should be saying is they are not running back hard enough, and give examples. Instead they talk of system failure and brew up images of engineers examining screens with schematic drawings on them pointing to the failure point.
