Apparently Moore (injured) and DeGoey (suspended) are out for our game. It makes for a game we should expect to win .... which always gets me nervous!!

There you go again WTB, Speaking the unmentionable and thus invoking the Fremantle curse on us again once more!

You need to go see a thrapist and sort this out before you end up being mistaken for an AFL umpire.

B1R1, it’s when Hypen calls a clear winner ahead of the game that we all get nervous...

Like Labor being led by Bill Hayden, I can't see a clear path to victory for us. A drover's dog could beat Freo at the MCG.

We have lost all 3 games in Melbourne this year, I was at them all, we are no hope, btw it’s at Docklands not the G Hypen.

Robert Harvey is going to need the drovers dog to shepherd the Pies all the way to Docklands, it'll be buggered by the time it gets there, we are home & hosed.

Remember when we were meant to beat the Eagles earlier this season because half their team was missing. We are just the team to kick start Collingwood's season given they will have a new coach and all that.

As a former asst coach at the 'prison bars wearers' JLo is well equipped to set up a winning game plan. I remain confident we will break through in Melbourne. OK I'm a super-optimist.

Players returning from injury and suspension will be key for us. That should add Fyfe, Logue, Wilson, Taberner and Hughes to the team, although Hughes has been hit with the dreaded TBC.

Hypen, I think you are misusing Australian history there. Bill Hayden would have led the ALP to victory in 1983, they didn't need Bob Hawke as leader to win. A drover's dog would have led the ALP to victory in 1983.

I remember Bill Hayden battling as Labor leader in the wilderness years after 1975. At the time the ALP was overrun with green lefty loonies*, and that made them unelectable. Hayden almost single-handedly dragged the party back to reality and made them a winning team. Hence his annoyance at being ousted as leader when victory was in sight.

*I may have been one of these types back in those days...
