I realise that we have the best young ruckman in the competition but can't imagine that rival clubs haven't been keeping an eye on Meek's efforts in the WAFL this year. As decent, developed ruckmen are hard to come by I would imagine that he would get an offer next year in and in an effort to play at the top level, leave? He's not going to get a game here unless Darcy or Lobb are injured.
This would mean though that we will need to draft and develop another young ruckman, who won't be ready to play, and a draft pick I'm sure we could better use in other areas.
His averages stand up well against other ruckmen. 16 disp, 26 hit outs, 3 marks, 3 tackles and just under a goal a game.
