Well, so much for Treacy going home.

He's just signed a two year extension.

Do any of Suma's predictions ever happen?

Think the contract might have a little upgrade onto the main list clause any time soon. Belly, will be looking for someone to chop to make room. Literally, today he was sniffing around injured players with an axe over his shoulder. Looked like a Smurf.

I think Stephen Hills days are numbered, I think he'll pull the pin in about 4-6 weeks.

Great player for the club but his body is done. Treacy can have his spot.

He's my favourite player. I think he should keep playing but try and get into a better injury management system.

Or what if they tried weighting his football talent a bit higher and his fitness capacity a bit less and see if they could get some use out of him.

This all started when the coaching and conditioning staff forced him to kick the majority of his disposals off the wrongun. It seemed stupid to me at the time - why sacrifice such an exquisite left foot for a bunch of scrubbers that could end up anywhere. But they persisted and his soft tissue injuries started to compound to a point where he couldn't get onto the paddock. Stephen Hill was perhaps the most watchable and skillful player to put on a Freo jumper - I'm still hopeful for the bloke.

Do you think I'm wrong? Go back and look at the game tapes.

Damn that fool RoLy and his bunch of yes men.

The problem was when they took a naturally strong but skinny player and tried to turn him into Adam Mcphee. Just another we've churned through.

That was my take on it Hypen, they took an F1 car and decided to beef it up so it could handle the battering a backman was expected to take, they had created a turning car but the clutch keeps overheating because it was never designed for that much weight.

Yeah, Polly, it ranks alongside the Medhurst experiment for stupidity, why make someone who never gets caught anyway, practise kicking on his wrong foot? (The lunacy of it was proven when opponents started catching him.)

Hypen, they are trying weird experiments up the road too and that is not going well. Exhibit A: J. Waterman, he was going to be the new merch seller, turns out everyone has forgotten footy before October 31st.
