He's a beauty! Could be one of our greatest rookie draft selections.

We have done pretty well in that area, i reckon.

MichealBarlow, Alex Silvagni, Lee Spur, Tabs, Hughes, Duman, and now Treacy.
I make that 8 'regulars' .(.though i may be stretching it with Duman...) in the 11 years since MickeyB was picked up

Notable absentees on that list MDB, Clancee Pearce & Broughton - (the year before 08/09), Menagola, Nyhuis, Banfield, Giro, Watson)

Has there been another club with similar "rookie draft successes"??? Think we do pretty well in that area, and maybe its a case of "necessity driving invention" compared to other clubs.

But credit where credit is due....

Yup, ...between 2000 and 08/09 where (MDB, Pearce & Broughton were Rookie Drafted), theres:

Roger Hayden , Sandi, Steven Dodd, Daniel Gilmour, Luke Webster, Paul Duffield, Robbie Hadrill.

Wasn't much before that except Antoni Grover in 1998/99.

I know he missed a couple of relatively easy shots yesterday but I like his set shot routine and he looks good from long distance - something we struggle with.
I can live with any short comings at this stage because he’s still in nappies. Guys his size don’t reach maximum impact until their mid 20s. Lots to look forward to.

Unlike pollyanna, I don't reckon he runs around like a chook, but you do have to ask... 13.4 kilometres... isn't this the kind of thing that has Taberner unable to string 10 games in a row together with lower leg troubles?
